Adam Gentry, DC, EP, is a doctor of chiropractic care with expertise in exercise physiology. Dr. Gentry, DC, leads the team at Easley Spine and Disc, in Easley, South Carolina. He has a passion for healing the body through mechanical and structural processes that produce long-lasting results without medications.
Dr. Gentry, DC, was raised in Powdersville, South Carolina and graduated from Wren High School, in Piedmont, South Carolina in 1989. He then completed his undergraduate studies in Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and then at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.
After gaining valuable experience working with injured people through Work Recovery, Inc., he initiated his chiropractic training at Sherman College of Chiropractic, in Spartanburg, South Carolina where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2000.
Since graduation, he has continued studies in nonsurgical decompression and functional rehabilitation for bulging and herniated discs, degenerative discs, osteoarthritis, nerve impingement, and failed back surgery. He also has extensive knowledge and education in the treatment and rehabilitation of spinal musculoskeletal injuries from sports and motor vehicle accidents. He is a highly skilled and experienced class IV Laser Practitioner and an International Chiropractic Elite Member.
After becoming a doctor of chiropractic, Dr. Gentry, DC, spent over 15 years traveling and practicing his craft in Europe and Central America, where he developed a passion for utilizing non-medicinal ways of treating musculoskeletal injuries and pain.
Dr. Gentry, DC, is committed to helping the men, women, and children under his care regain their best health and function, using chiropractic care, laser therapy, spinal decompression, and quality nutrition.
Dr. Gentry, DC, and his wife, Angela, of over 25 years, are raising two sons, Ty and Peyton. As a family, they support Ty in motocross and golf, and Peyton in track and cross country and in his penchant for music.
